1. When standard fasteners lack required mechanical performance (enhanced strength demand)

Mass-produced standard bolts adopt general-strength material grades for universal civilian use.
For heavy-load machinery, high-torque assembly, vibration-prone equipment, pressure vessels or automotive powertrain parts, ordinary bolts are prone to stretching, shear fracture, loosening or fatigue failure under long-term dynamic loads.

Two types of bolts are widely used on these motorcycle components: hex flange bolts and socket head cap bolts, most of which are manufactured from stainless steel.
