1. When standard fasteners lack required mechanical performance (enhanced strength demand)
Mass-produced standard bolts adopt general-strength material grades for universal civilian use.

Common motorcycle component mounting positions include engine covers, fairings, rearview mirror brackets, frame trim pieces, footpeg brackets and various aftermarket cosmetic modification parts. Two types of bolts are widely used on these motorcycle components: hex flange bolts and socket head cap bolts, most of which are manufactured from stainless steel.
