As a leading non-standard fastener manufacturer in China, GD Fastenal custom produced screws, bolts, cnc machining parts and nuts. In accordance with the production process, our manufacturing procedures cover cold heading forming, thread rolling, CNC machining and secondary processing (turning, cutting & chamfering, slotting, cross drilling). We also maintains an independent quality control department separate from all business divisions, which enforces stringent quality control over manufacturing at every production stage.

Cold Head Forming

Cold heading — also known as cold forming — is the heart of our fastener production. Metal is shaped at room temperature under high-speed precision pressure, which not only boosts output but also strengthens the material's internal grain structure, giving our fasteners superior hardness and consistency over machined parts.From large flat sheets and complex folded shapes to metal tubes, screw heads, threads, and riveted joints, cold forming handles a remarkably wide range of fastener applications. To serve every order — whether simple or highly complex, low or high volume — GD Fastenal operates a diversified fleet of multi-station cold heading machines include Four-die Four-punch,Two-die Four-punch,Two-die Three-punch,Three-die Three-punch ect.

CNC Machining

GD Fastenal is equipped with state-of-the-art CNC turning and milling centers, alongside high-speed automatic lathe machines, purpose-built for precision fastener manufacturing.

  • Tolerance Control: Stable machining at ±0.001mm accuracy, verified by routine CMM inspection.
  • Material Range: Proficient in brass, stainless steel (303/304/316), alloy steel, copper, and aluminum.
  • Complex Features: Capable of producing micro-threads, fine knurls, hex heads, slots, and cross-holes in a single clamping cycle.

Secondary Processing

At GD Fastenal, we go beyond primary forming to offer a full suite of secondary machining and finishing operations—all under one roof. This integrated approach eliminates the need for outsourcing, reducing lead times and ensuring complete quality control over every stage of production.Our in-house secondary capabilities include: Cutting and Chamfering, Grooving, Slotting, Cross Drilling, Turning and Grinding. This comprehensive secondary operation suite enables us to deliver fully finished, ready-to-assemble custom fasteners with the fastest possible turnaround in the specialty fastener industry. By controlling every process internally, we maintain strict traceability and respond swiftly to engineering changes or urgent order requests.

Stamping

GD Fastenal operates a dedicated metal stamping division capable of transforming flat metal coils and sheets into complex, ready-to-use components with exceptional speed and cost-efficiency. Stamping is the backbone of mass production, and our press lines are engineered to deliver consistent quality at high output rates.

Production Efficiency: Progressive and transfer die stamping enables high-speed continuous operation, making it the ideal solution for large-quantity orders where unit cost reduction is critical. Part Complexity: From simple flat washers to intricate three-dimensional forms with multiple bends, ribs, and embossments, our tooling capabilities accommodate diverse geometric requirements.
